Maintenance Contract

- This Contract Service Plan is designed to provide hardware and software service and support for network and peripheral systems. This agreement includes regularly scheduled preventative maintenance visits to monitor, maintain, and repair hardware and software issues that arise within the network infrastructure with the expressed purpose of preventing failures and minimize "down time". Through monthly, system-wide diagnostics, we will identify and replace hardware components that are either failing or performing outside optimal parameters. We remove software clutter that accumulates in workstations that can often lead to instability and data contamination. We evaluate the operating system and peripheral applications running on each system to ensure necessary upgrades and updates are installed when appropriate. This type of Service Agreement does not automatically include any management features.


Management Contract

- This Contract Service Plan is designed to provide network management support. This agreement includes weekly or bi-weekly visits to actively manage your network and peripheral systems, including verifying the regular back-up of critical data and changing back-up media, establishing access criteria, monitoring system security (including users and user passwords), scheduling back-up recovery drills, and verifying active virus protection. These appointments are normally scheduled on the same day and time each week to provide the necessary structure to manage the network effectively. This type of Service Agreement does not automatically include any maintenance features.

If your organization requires on-site visitation frequently or at scheduled intervals, this is the solution for you. We offer several different plans to fit your needs and budget from only a few hours a month to full-time on-site consultants.


Clients under technical support contracts automatically receive priority trouble ticket resolution - especially useful at critical times when major software flaws, vulnerabilities, and virus attacks threaten many of our clients' systems simultaneously and our on-site technicians are booked for extended periods of time.

We also offer service contracts which carry 12-month minimum term commitments but can substantially reduce hourly rates and destination charges. All support contracts, on-site and telephone/email, include Remote Desktop Management services.

Telephone / E-Mail Support Contracts

If your organization doesn't frequently require on-site visitation but still needs occasional phone or e-mail support that can be done off-site from our office, a telephone support plan might be a more cost-effective solution for you.


Monthly rates provide service availability only. Actual consultation time is billed at the end of the month. Any user in your organization is able to request support. We do not bill for simple questions having one-minute answers.

Remote Desktop Management

Many system administration and technical support tasks can be performed directly on your PCs and servers without the presence of an on-site technician being necessary.


In 2003, 71% of all Krysto Drym IT technical support requests could have been resolved using remote desktop management. No on-site service necessary! This number does not include web hosting or site maintenance requests.

  • Scheduled system maintenance such as software & virus definition updates, backup processes, etc. can be done in a more timely fashion keeping your systems out of harm's way.

Setup

Setup of this service requires installation of software on each PC and server computer that needs to be made accessible. Firewall configuration changes may be made allow incoming packets on certain ports to come through.


Pricing

Remote desktop management services no longer carry any additional monthly fees as of February 1, 2004. They are now included with all telephone and on-site technical support contracts. Rates can be found on our service rates  section above.
